Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: During his two-day visit to Latur and Beed districts, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stated that he is refraining from making any statements against the opposition or rebutting their claims because his party has a plethora of welfare schemes and development projects to showcase. In response to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's remarks on the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed his lack of understanding regarding Gadkari's statement and mentioned his intention to discuss the matter with Gadkari upon returning to Mumbai. Addressing a large audience in Beed district's Majalgaon, Pawar emphasized the government's comprehensive efforts towards development for all communities and called for support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming elections. He reiterated his party's commitment to secular values and principles inspired by historical figures like Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Pawar emphasized the NCP-led government's dedication to the welfare of all segments of society, irrespective of caste, religion, region, or language. He highlighted the statewide "Jan Sanman Yatra," aimed at promoting awareness of government schemes, such as the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana providing financial assistance to hardworking women. Additionally, Pawar mentioned initiatives including free education for girls, waiving electricity bills for farmers, crop insurance scheme for a nominal fee, milk subsidy, and increased honorarium for various community roles. He mentioned that these initiatives would persist for the next five years if the Mahayuti receives support in the forthcoming elections. "I humbly ask for your blessings and steadfast support for Mahayuti during this election," he expressed.
